Our journey is grounded in the unforgettable story of Richard Dennis and William Eckhardt, who, in 1983, asked the question: Can trading be taught, or is it an innate skill? Their answer was to train a group of novices using a simple, rules-based approach to trend-following, giving each participant $1 million to manage. Inspired by a visit to a turtle-breeding farm in Singapore, Dennis famously declared, 'We are going to raise traders like they raise turtles.' This audacious experiment birthed some of the most successful traders in modern history, including Jerry Parker and Liz Cheval.
